OVERLAND PARK, Kansas – Jan. 13, 2010 – Kansas Gas Service is replacing distribution service lines and relocating gas meters throughout the city of Kiowa.
"The project is part of our scheduled maintenance and system-improvement program," explains Conrad Koehler, Kansas Gas Service manager of community relations.
Customers affected by this project will be notified by Miller Construction Company, the contractor assisting Kansas Gas Service, or by a service notification card that will be posted at their home or business. This project is expected to be completed by March 31. Company officials do not anticipate any major interruption to traffic flow.
